Rule 55D
Liability of vehicle owner or manager in relation to insurance
: (1) Any vehicle owner or manager who operates a transport service shall not be liable for an amount exceeding the liability of the amount mentioned in such insurance for insurance in accordance with this rule.
(2) Notwithstanding anything written elsewhere in this rule, this rule shall not be deemed to prevent the owner or manager of such a vehicle from maintaining an insurance amount in excess of the insurance amount specified in this rule.
